The movie shows various Tesla technologies, including Autopilot, the infotainment system, and the Tesla app — as well as the "ease" of driving an electric car on a daily basis.

Later that day, Musk told CNBC's David Faber that he'd only just made the choice at the event. He stated that Tesla does not yet have a defined advertising strategy. Nonetheless, the CEO told CNBC that he believes commercials should be "informative and entertaining" without making users regret the time they spent watching them.

Musk told CNBC that he expects to utilise advertisements to battle misunderstandings about the brand's pricing and to highlight its safety features.

Musk has already stated that he despises advertising. He has stated that Tesla prefers to invest in research and development rather than promotional content.
