Elon Musk has once again become the wealthiest person in the world, surpassing Bernard Arnault.

Musk's estimated net worth is now around $192 billion.

The rise in Musk's wealth can be attributed to the success of his company, Tesla, whose stock value has increased by about 66% this year.

Tesla has been a major source of income for Musk, accounting for approximately 71% of his wealth.

On the other hand, Arnault, the chairman of luxury brand company LVMH, has experienced a decline in his net worth due to a 10% decrease in LVMH's stock value caused by the declining luxury market, particularly in China.

Musk recently had a business-related meeting with a Chinese foreign minister during his visit to China, although specific details of their conversation have not been disclosed.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, as of June 1, Musk's net worth stood at approximately $192 billion, while Arnault's net worth was reported to be $187 billion.

Musk and Arnault have been engaged in a close competition for the top position on the list of the world's wealthiest individuals.

In the past, Musk temporarily lost the top spot to Arnault in December 2022 but reclaimed it in late February.

The latest surge in Tesla's stock prices, which have risen by about 89% so far in 2023, has also contributed to the increase in Musk's wealth.
